And now, get ready for a... podcast?

This week is no regular week. This week Manuel Amaya from The Silver String, and Alejandra Acevedo from ThisCharmingMoz bring you sound along with text. You read that right, folks. This week we have a podcast.

As you may know, this whole blog business is a class assignment. For that same class we've been asked to make a podcast, which is weird because we've never done anything like this before. But alas, there is no choice.

We've chosen a topic that is nice and easy for us: music. We talk about music all the time, so to make it a bit more challenging for ourselves we decided to talk about music we don't like. To be more clear, we decided to talk about pop music.

The thing with pop music is that as time has gone on, it's pretty much gone downhill. We're big fans of the oldies; give us some pop from the 80's or 90's and we'll be fine. What we don't get is why it sucks so much nowadays.

This is what our podcast is truly about. We took four songs from different decades, and analyzed what we liked or disliked about them, and compared. The newest song in the mix is by Post Malone, and it's called "Better Now". Next up is Kanye West in 2007 with "Stronger", followed by Puff Daddy's and Faith Evans' 1997 tribute to Biggie Smalls "I'll be Missing You", and lastly, Rick Astley's 1987 bop "Never Gonna Give You Up".

What you're about to witness is two young adults, with no clue about how podcasts work, ranting about their thoughts and feelings regarding music they don't even like. Enjoy.
